Physiotherapy

What is physiotherapy?

Physiotherapy is a health care discipline that promotes health and healing from injury or disability. Through examination, diagnosis and treatment of impairments, our team of skilled therapists seeks to help you regain maximum functionality.

What to expect at your first visit:

When you arrive to your appointment we have you fill out a few relatively standard health-info related forms. Your therapist will greet you in the waiting area and bring you back into a private room. The therapist will take a detailed history of your pain complaint and perform specialized tests to determine the cause of your symptoms.

We invite clients to raise any questions or concerns during this assessment, while the therapist provides some form of pain relief and instruction on at-home work that can be done to help move along your healing.

The initial assessment appointment lasts approximately one hour.
