They have gained invaluable business and academic experience over the years. They are committed to the principals of life-long learning, which allows the team to offer the most up-to-date approaches and treatments to you on your journey to wellness.

Located in the heart of the Windsor Park community in Winnipeg, Physio Source started out as a unique blend of entrepreneurial business professionals, Two well-established Physiotherapists and educators in the profession teamed up with two young, energetic and passionate Physiotherapists to bring new life to a seasoned community.

Shelley Umali BMR(PT)
Physiotherapist; Certified in Acupuncture
Co-Owner
Shelley graduated from the College of Rehabilitation Services (University of Manitoba) in 2007, and received her Acupuncture certification in 2009. Shelley has 19 years experience working in a private practice setting. She has taken numerous post-graduate courses related to rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries. She has recently included educational training for Dizziness/Vertigo assessment and treatment in her portfolio.
After thorough assessment, Shelley treats her clients and their needs using manual therapy, soft tissue manipulation, individualized exercises, and pain modulation techniques. Her main goal with her clients is to build a relationship where both are keeping the goal of function and strength, overall well-being and accountability in mind.
Shelley devotes her time outside of the clinic to her husband and two children. She enjoys traveling, spinning, spending time with family and has a passion for cooking all types of cuisine.
Mandeep Bzovy BMR(PT)
Physiotherapist; Certified in Acupuncture

Mandeep graduated from the College of Rehabilitation Sciences (University of Manitoba) in 2007, and received her Acupuncture certification in 2009. With 19 years of experience in a private practice setting, she has developed a comprehensive understanding of musculoskeletal injury management.
Mandeep works to build lasting relationships with clients to help guide them towards pain relief and return to pre-injury status.
With her ongoing professional development through course work, Mandeep treats her clients using a variety of treatment techniques. She also dedicates her time mentoring future physiotherapists in the profession to make sure those entering the profession continue to provide quality care to the community.
When Mandeep is not in the clinic setting, she is enjoying her time with family & friends, has a passion for playing soccer and volleyball, and a dedication to strength-training in the gym setting.
Sukhmandeep Kaur MPT

With a few years of clinical experience, Sukhmandeep has dedicated herself to helping patients achieve their goals and return to the activities that matter most to them.
Her commitment to continued learning and professional development allows her to continually build on her skills and bring current, evidence-informed approaches to her practice. Patients can feel confident knowing they are receiving thoughtful, professional care focused on helping them move better, feel stronger, and get back to doing what they enjoy.
In her spare time, Sukhmandeep enjoys spending time with family.

Laxmita is a dedicated and compassionate physiotherapist who brings a fresh perspective, strong clinical knowledge, and a genuine commitment to helping patients move and feel their best. With a growing foundation of clinical experience, Laxmita takes a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to care. She takes the time to understand each patient's individual goals and develops treatment plans that are practical, personalized, and focused on meaningful progress. Her professionalism, enthusiasm, and attention to detail make her a valued member of our team.
When not at the clinic, Laxmita enjoys spending time with family.
Nicole graduated from the Evolve College of Massage Therapy in 2023. Her systemic approach to treatment includes a thorough assessment, identification of the cause of pain, and patient education. She uses a multitude of techniques including Swedish massage, soft tissue release, and myofascial release. When she is not massaging at the clinic, she can be found coaching gymnastics, reading, or spending time with her family. Book with Nicole today!

Ngozi Stewart-Petrowski has been a valued Rehab Assistant at Physio Source since 2011, making her one of our long-standing team members. She also works full-time as a Health Care Aide at Health Sciences Centre and continues to support our clinic by covering shifts when needed. In her downtime, Ngozi enjoys relaxing and, most importantly, catching up on a good nap!
Madison Deurbrouck is a Kinesiology student at the University of Manitoba with the goal of becoming a physiotherapist. As a Rehab Assistant at Physio Source, she is a valued member of our team, known for her exceptional care and empathy toward our clients. Outside of work and school, Madison enjoys hiking, watching horror movies, eating spicy noodles, and trying new cuisines.
Clarice Sobrevega
Office Manager
Clarice Sobrevega has been a valued member of the Physio Source team since 2021, starting as a Rehab Assistant and growing into her role as Office Manager. As the happy and welcoming face of our clinic, Clarice is an invaluable support to our entire team. Outside of work, she loves hosting get-togethers and going on travel adventures with friends.
Ella Alaman

Ella Alaman is a nursing student at the University of Manitoba and a reliable and dedicated Rehab Assistant at Physio Source. Her role has given her valuable experience working and interacting with patients in a clinical setting. When she’s not working or studying, Ella enjoys relaxing with friends, spending time at family gatherings, and going to the movies.
Meshwa Patel
Rehab Assistant
Meshwa Patel is a Kinesiology student and a part-time Rehabilitation Assistant with out team. She is gaining valuable hands-on experience while building her knowledge and skills. Outside of work and school, Meshwa enjoys clean eating and staying active.
