PHYSIOTHERAPY

Our clinic can treat clients of all ages from school age children to older adults. Physio Source primarily treats injuries/conditions that are musculoskeletal in nature. Services offered include the following:

·        Treatment of workplace/ post Motor Vehicle Accident Injuries
·        Treatment of sport/overuse injuries

Physiotherapy Coverage

1) Worker’s Compensation Board (WCB)

If you are injured at work, call the Worker’s Compensation Board at (204) 954-4100 to be assigned a claim number. The Workers Compensation Act requires employers to provide the WCB with a fully completed Employers Report of Injury within 5 business days of becoming aware of a workplace accident.

WCB will fund the physiotherapy initial assessment and report for most claims. From there, the physiotherapy report will be sent to WCB and a written notice of approval/disapproval will be sent back to the Physio Source and yourself within a few days. Amount of treatments allotted is determined by severity of the injury.

2) Manitoba Public Insurance (MPI)

If you are involved in a motor vehicle accident whether it be as a driver, passenger, or pedestrian, you are covered by MPI for physiotherapy treatments. Physio Source will require your accident claim number to send in the physiotherapy initial report. Amount of treatments allotted is determined by severity of the injury.

3) Blue Cross and Great West Life

Blue Cross and Great West Life benefits are accepted at the Physio Source. We can conveniently direct bill these two companies. Blue Cross and GWL sometimes only cover a portion of the physiotherapy treatment, you are then responsible to pay for the remainder of the costs. When you come in for your first appointment please bring your benefits card.

4) Private Insurance

If you are covered with other private insurance companies, it is your responsibility to pay for each treatment after each visit. You can then send your invoices to your insurance company and have them reimburse you directly.

We accept all forms of payment. (Cash, debit, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Personal cheques)

MASSAGE THERAPY

Now offering massage therapy at a full-time basis, Monday - Saturday.  We have two certified Registered Massage Therapists named Amanda MacLaren & Rex Bambalan working out of the clinic that can provide relaxation, therapeutic/deep tissue massage, myofacial release, or active muscle release therapy.

Direct billing is available for Massage Therapy (Blue Cross & Great West Life).
